The Daring Way™ group process provides participants with the opportunity to own and tell their stories, while being seen and loved throughout our time together. Come … be your bravest self and connect with other like-minded, open women. Together we will explore topics including vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. You will be invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding you back and identify new choices and practices that can move you toward more authentic and wholehearted living. This group will offer you the opportunity to cultivate the belief that you are enough!
Here’s what is truly at the heart of wholeheartedness: Worthy now, not if,
not when, we’re worthy of love and belonging now. Right this minute. As
is.” — Brené Brown
About The Daring Way™
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Ph.D., LMSW, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly and Rising Strong. The Daring Way™ helps people transform their feelings of vulnerability into acts of courage and develop shame resilience skills. Comments about prior group attendees of The Daring Way™ in Tucson:
“The Daring Way™ group helped me gain a healthier perspective on many things, especially my “feelings of fear and shame. I have read all of Brene Brown’s books, but working with the material in a confidential group setting allowed me to really experience her ideas in ways I couldn’t have on my own. Carol is a compassionate and adept therapist. She created a safe space where I could take the risk of being vulnerable with other people, as well as hold space for the as they revealed their inner struggles to the group.” — Elsa
“This was a powerful, transformative experience. The group was absolutely wonderful, as was your facilitation. It’s not easy to do so with the right balance of allowing and guiding, but you were masterful, and as a result, we were held in a safe and sacred space where deep learning and change could occur. Thank you so very much, not only for what you do, but how you do it. It made all the difference!
My world has changed. It seems cliché, but I finally understand that being imperfect is perfect! I say down and started to make a list of the things that were meaningful to me from this program and I realized I was listing everything we did.” — Brenda
“Wow! Everything was meaningful. My sponsor urged me to go ahead with this course and I’m so grateful that I did! It’s helped clarify and move me forward. I find I am experiencing much less self-loathing, more acceptance, and a greater willingness to identify my own truth and act on it. The group facilitator was superb — open, accepting, affirming, never shaming, and she had obviously experienced and internalized the spirt of this course.” — Ann
